The Church of St Simon & St Jude

Parish ChurchAt this lovely Victorian Church you will find a very warm welcome from the Ministry Team, Churchwardens, their assistants and the congregation. Come and join us for our act of worship which takes place usually at 9.30am on Sunday mornings. Most Sundays we offer a Common Worship service of Holy Communion. We hope that when you attend worship at St Simon and St Jude, you will stay behind after the service for coffee and biscuits, when you will have the opportunity of meeting and getting to know the clergy and other members of the congregation.

For up-to-date information about the Church’s services and events please see the Wychwood Benefice website.

If you are thinking about getting married or having a child baptised, the clergy will be happy to arrange a time to meet with you and talk through your plans.

St Simon and St Jude is part of a group of parishes known as the Shipton Benefice, Benefice Office (email: and we regularly participate in acts of worship with the other church communities, St Mary’s in Shipton- under-Wychwood, St John’s in Fifield and St Nicholas in Idbury.
