Last year the whole kitchen area at the Village Hall was renovated and equipped with new white goods. The Village Hall committee now want to put the finishing touches to the main hall area.

They are working hard to raise the funding to have the hall redecorated, this time in neutral colours so saying good bye to the orange paint!

Most people are surprised to learn that the hall costs about £700 a month to run – insurance, gas, electricity, water, refuse collection, licences, cleaning and garden maintenance. In addition there are regular repair bills and unforeseen expenses that to be paid.

The Hall Trustees regularly discuss how to make efficiencies. We do not want to just increase income by raising the hire charges. These remain competitive and will continue so if we can increase bookings.

So if you are holding a lunch, a dinner, a party or a meeting please consider using the Village Hall . We can also hire out tables, chairs and glasses for other events.
