The Milton Welfare Trust is one of the two charities that looks after the allotments and field on the Bruern Road. The charity gains its income from the rent received from these, the allotments being let to locals from the village and the field to a local farmer. The Welfare Trust gives grants and donations to people living in Milton in times of need , hardship, or distress. It also covers maintenance on the allotments. The welfare provided can be in many ways, financial support, moral support or just a simple gift to lift the spirits. The charity is managed by its own set of trustees and is totally separate from the Parish Council.
